Employee Recognition Program – Wayne Morris, PCSI

PCSI is a non-profit, AbilityOne contract company.  We employ individuals with all types of significant disabilities to include, veterans/wounded warriors.  Our corporate headquarters is located in Austin, Texas, but we have contracts all over the United States.  Our contract is on Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM).  Our contract provides minor maintenance to the barracks and dormitories on JBLM along with furnishings removal and replacement in the barracks and dormitories on JBLM.

PCSI has an Employee Recognition Program that allows us to nominate employees and supervisors from our site as Employee of the Month, Volunteer of the Quarter and Supervisor of the Quarter.  Not only is Wayne Morris a tremendous Supervisor and employee, but he is a great example of being a servant leader through his volunteer efforts.  Wayne was nominated by our site as the Volunteer of the Quarter and then was selected PCSI wide as the Volunteer of the Quarter which is why he received the award.  In addition to the award, the recipient of the award is able to select an organization of their choice and then PCSI donates $500 on their behalf to that organization, which is how Wayne was able to present City Gates Ministries with the donation check of $500.

We, at PCSI, appreciate City Gates Ministries’ heart for the community.  It was such a blessing to be able to come down and see first-hand everything CGM does on Thursday nights as well as watching Wayne and the other employees from PCSI that have joined Wayne in volunteering their time.

Wayne has recently become a board member of CGM and continues to serve the hygiene van.
